it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 100% English Language Learners. They love reading and especially enjoy graphic novels. They have been requesting some Dog Man books and Dork Diaries in Spanish.
My students are an amazing group of motivated readers and I need an updated library to keep them interested.
I would love to update my library to include some high-interest graphic novels. Graphic novels are essential to ELLs because the pictures help them understand the dialogue and improve their English and reading. They are constantly looking for more graphic novels and I would love to be able to provide these books.
