Help me give my students the opportunity to delve into popular series like Goosebumps and Harry Potter. They have seen the movies but now they can delve further into the book series.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I will service three classrooms full of fourth graders who are passionate about learning and steadily cultivating literacy preferences through the exposure of different genres and series. Incorporating a wide variety of genres and series of books helps to encourage student growth in background knowledge and foster interests amongst classmates. I look forward to diversifying their classroom library with diverse reads that will broaden their horizons. We serve students of all abilities ranging from special education, English as a second language, and gifted and talented.
My Project
My students are so excited about new books in the classroom library that are diverse reads and grade level applicable. They are familiar with popular movies like Goosebumps and Harry Potter. I want to afford them the opportunity to explore these characters' adventures further by introducing them to captivating series that they already find popular. I am so happy that I can offer them stories of characters that offer relatable topics about adventure, school and friendships. Before I was limited in the number of chapter books because I had previously taught younger grade levels.
My continuous goal is always to offer a wider selection that allows students to sample various series that they might not have encountered previously.
Chapter book series by popular authors will help them transition as readers by hooking their interests. I feel so fortunate to have the luxury of offering a print rich environment for my students within the classroom and always seek to evolve its contents based on students' interests. We have developed a check out system that they are upholding responsibly. This is my first year teaching fourth grade, and I have witnessed the steady progression of my students' reading interests. More importantly, the goal is always to increase their stamina for reading.
