My Project

I am a Special Education teacher, and I work in a Title I school where many students come from lower-income households. I work with students with autism in grades kindergarten through grade three, and my students with autism have sensory needs. I am trying to obtain pop its literacy and math materials for their sensory needs.

The pop its will help me incorporate learning through play for my students with autism, keeping them engaged in their learning.

The students will be able to concentrate on their phonics and math while receiving their necessary sensory input, increasing their time on task. My students will have an incentive to perform academically during their work sessions while also participating in a sensory rich environment.
