Popping Keyboard Lessons

Help me give my students a creative and relevant way to learn the keyboard keys in technology class!

My Project

All of our students, Pre-K through 4th grade, visit technology at least once a week. They also have technology to use in the classroom, including Chromebooks. Typing is a must for them! Many of our students do not have devices to use at home to practice their keyboarding skills.

These pop-it keyboards will be a fun and relevant way for the kids to practice typing their usernames, passwords, and other important information.

They can learn where the keys are while using a toy that we all know they love! I will give them assignments to practice on the pop-it keyboard before they move on to mastering it on the real keyboards! This will be especially helpful for Pre-K-1st grade students, and older students with special learning needs.
