Poppin’ Rewards: Recognizing Service with a Snack!
Help me give my students encouragement for the hundreds of service hours they put in each year in Beta Club! This popcorn machine and supplies will help us give them well deserved treats at our meetings!

My Project
Each year, the members of the local chapter of our Beta Club (an honorary club with a mission for Servant Leadership) logs hundreds of hours in service to our school and community. We hold an annual canned food drive that serves three local food banks in our community as well as a small blessing box our club built and placed in front of our Health Dept. We collect over 10,000 cans each year! We have honored local heroes, provided Christmas gifts to parents of our students who may not be able to give as freely as we are (we give the parents the gift of giving to their kids and not to the kids directly), provide hygeine packs and materials to students who are in need, and read to elementary students to encourage literacy and learning! My students are the very definition of selflessness! I would love to do more for them to keep them encouraged and fueled for serving! This popcorn machine would be a hit at our planning meetings and so appreciated at the end of a long school day!
