Poppin’ PBIS & After-school FUN!

My Students

I service students who require extensive one-on-one collaboration, suffer severely with poor test scores, and are faced with many instances of abuse, neglect, and trauma. However, my gems still manage to both consistently & eagerly yearn for success and overcome obstacles in their daily lives.

Being a Title I school, our scholars are often never allowed the same opportunities or advancements as other scholars, even as close as those a minimum of 5 miles away.

Research shows that both movement & art therapy integration instills value, calmness, and higher success rates in children and also teenagers. Our scholars need these necessities to begin our wellness journey! With these materials, my gems will be able to shine & smile thru the traumas of life. From stage performances, to community clean-ups…my gems deserve to be treated as the diamonds of which they are! My gems have some amazing hidden talents, & your generosity will miraculously bring them all to the forefront!

My Project

With these basic materials, my scholars will be encouraged to meet expectations by setting and meeting goals of their own choosing! I have learned thru YEARS and MILLIONS of DOJO points, while it is cool to be incentivized thru these measures, my scholars THRIVE on the notions of “instant gratification!”

Tangible items of incentives presented to my scholars present them the opportunity to work hard for and toward their ending goal!

These incentives and suppliers will help my scholars in a positive light! As we work together to set goals, set a plan/strategies to work on those goals, meet the goals, and then to gain an incentive is the most rewarding feeling for my scholars!
