My students are some of the best six-year-olds in our small school district. They are always trying to do their best. They are always working together and learning how to cooperate.
First grade is a magical year when students are learning how to read, write, and behave together as a classroom family.
The students in my classroom are kind, caring, and always looking for new ways to learn, engage, and motivate each other to become better readers and mathematicians. First grade can be a year of change for my kiddos, and with your help on our projects we can learn and grow together.
When you are six years old, life can be a challenge. Regular milk or chocolate? Trying to find out if there really are monsters under the bed. And everything in between. Keeping these kiddos engaged and participating can also be a challenge for the teacher.
Having instant access to a color printer in our classroom will help my students with our classwork, awards, reading fluency, engagement, and recognition for jobs well done.
They are always on the move, looking for things that their young brains can look at, touch, speak to, and discuss with. Our curriculum is wonderful, but it does not have access to color reprographics that I can quickly print.
We would be grateful for any support in helping my little ones to see a world full of colors, instead of simple black and white.
