Popcorn, Pickles, Chips And Treats! Fundraiser Cart Needed!

My students need a cart to support their after-school snack sales fundraiser. Students sell snacks to raise money so they can fund the field trip to the state capitol.

Our 4th grade students are curious, dedicated learners.

This year they will learn as much as possible about the great state of Texas. In order to take that learning a step further, we are taking them to Austin, Texas to tour the Texas State Capitol and the Bob Bullock Museum. This opportunity will allow students to step out of the classroom and away from texts and projects to experience history firsthand.

My Project

4th grade students work the "Cotton Candy Court" snack sales to raise money in order to pay the costs of attending the trip. Students apply for jobs such as advertising, production, sales and bankers. Each Friday, the school community eagerly awaits the 4th grade snack sales. In order to make this happen, students create posters, make announcements, prepare bank bags with petty cash, bag popcorn, arrange snacks and drinks for display and then sell, sell, sell! The challenge has been displaying and storing the goods. Our students need a utility cart with wheels to get the products from the classroom to the front of the school, and to store the snack items when not on sale.

Our hardworking students are eager to raise their own funds.

The community, and our principal, have been so impressed with the enthusiasm and hard work our students exhibit. If they have their own cart, it will make their selling and transporting efforts more efficient.
