Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having colored paper, specifically Astro bright paper, has proven to be incredibly useful for various projects. It enhances our demonstrations, such as showcasing bird wings with airplanes, and allows for creative designs in board games and maps. These vibrant colors not only engage the students but also make our printouts eye-catching and impactful. My students use sharpies in many different projects as well; adding detail to their marble runs, engineering and creating bird wings, and designing habitats are just a few of the projects we use them for.

Using colored paper and sharpies fosters creativity and helps the students better understand complex concepts.

It encourages collaboration and innovation, which are essential components of our STEM curriculum. These materials will benefit 700 plus kids in our elementary school. Thank you for your continued support in enhancing our learning environment!
