Pop It Spelling and Math

Help me give my students Silicone Bubble Pop Toys to use as an educational tool to learn letter names, letter sounds, spelling, and numbers.

My Students

I believe my students can be as successful as they want to be, in whatever way that looks to them. I love to give my students experiences and exposure to ideas that they may have not have experienced yet. I teach many students that are learning English as their second language.

I reject the student deficit model and instead embrace that they are already wonderful learning beings and I would like to ignite even more passion and curiosity into their already bright minds.

My Project

Bubble Pop Toys are not only a perfect tool for anxiety relief but they have also proven themselves as an educational tool. Students can pop the bubbles as they hear letters sounds to learn how to spell or they can pop bubbles as they count on. Not only is it fun, but it is a hands-on way for students to practice their literacy and math skills. Many teachers already use Elkonian boxes as a way for students to understand that there are a certain amount of sounds to hear and spell, this can be another tool to teach this important foundational skill.
