Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a high poverty school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch! I have high expectations that they will grow and learn beyond what is expected.

School is a safe and happy place for my students.

Each day, they come into the classroom excited about the day and spending time exploring and learning together. For many of my students, being at school is the best part of their day.

My Project

When used properly, fidget tools can help with self regulation, attention, and calming. For children with ADHD, the tools can offer a movement outlet that allows the child to focus and concentrate better.

These pop it fidgets will help my student de-stress and relieve any anxiety they have.

They will help my students relax by “popping” the silicone bubbles.

Fidgets are to help students focus and are becoming a popular trend in my classroom this year. Many of my students own a Pop It fidgets. Not all of my students are able to afford their own. This project will allow all students the opportunity to use a pop it fidget toy.
