My Students

I have a wonderful group of nineteen, second-grade students who love school and they arrive every day eager to learn. This year they have handled changes to our classroom like champs! They are truly AMAZING!!! My goal this year is to provide them with fun, engaging lessons during their remote learning portion of the day.

I teach at a Title I school where the majority of students receive free or reduced rate lunch and breakfast.

I want my students to be successful and have the best educational experience, which they deserve, despite COVID-19 restrictions and socioeconomic status.

My Project

BrainPop Jr. content is aligned to Common Core State Standards. Integrating BrainPOP Jr. for virtual learning will allow for me to provide students with a fun, interactive way to learn throughout all subject areas.

Things will be so different this year as we begin school using a hybrid model.

A subscription to Brain Pop will help my students learn core subject materials online all while having some fun. Students are also able to participate in their learning by using the interactive quizzes that are designed to check for understanding of the information presented in a short, animated movie.

Having a webcam in my classroom will allow me to provide families with live sessions in which I teach various skills. This will give my 100% virtual learners a chance to feel that they are a part of our classroom while they are being safe at home.
