A part of our state standards is for students to learn about money and how our country uses it. Every year, second graders learn the importance of currency and how barter/saving impacts daily life. A subscription to BrainPOP will help provide invaluable multimedia exposure and experiences to their learning of financial literacy. With a range of videos, activities, and lessons on financial literacy, this resource can enhance my students learning in school and at home. Plus, the visual and audio engagement will extend the learning for every student who needs every learning modality engaged.
An Investment in Knowledge Pays the Best Interest!
Attending a STEM/STEAM school that incorporates performing arts, visual arts, coding, computer science (CS), financial literacy, and social-emotional learning (SEL) gives our students the chance to explore who they are. Our urban school receives federal funding for programs that provide free breakfast/lunch for every student, and Title I services to economically disadvantaged boys and girls. Our inclusive class serves military families, gifted/talented students, ESL/ELL students, special education students, and tech-savvy students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
