Help me give my students paint, snacks, a garment rack, speakers and other resources for their first musical theatre production! These items will help us significantly jump start our production.
In the 2024-2025 school year, I will be directing the school's first musical. This musical beautifully represents Polynesian culture. My school has around 150 Polynesian students. Looking at our school data, we can see that our Polynesian students are underserved. Our show will give them that place of acceptance.
The paint, snacks, a garment rack, speakers and other items will help create the world of the musical, help us fundraise, and create a positive place for students to make art.
This production is going to set the bar for my district. Not only am I the only middle school theatre teacher, but this will be the first musical performed in the 54 years this school has been active.
