This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My Pre-K students learn by doing. In class we study plants and pollinators, and how they depend on one another. The students love to learn about how plants grow and to see how insects like bees change (metamorphose) and affect our world.

Pre-K students learn best with hands-on, fun activities.

They would love to plant their own garden and observe caterpillars metamorphosing! This year, we tried to plant our own garden but our plants did not make it. With this project, my students will have everything they need to create a successful garden that butterflies will adore, and will get to raise their own butterflies! Thank you for supporting these sweet little scientists!
