This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the winter months are upon us, I am reminded daily of the struggles of the students in my classroom. They deal with so many things 10 and 11 year old's shouldn't have to. One thing we can all do for them is to provide something warm for them to have on the upcoming cold nights.

Help me give my students a warm blanket so they remembered they are loved and support even when we are not together.

I'd like to ease that burden for them AND provide their babies with something that will keep them warm over winter break! Our school closes for over two weeks and I get so worried thinking about if my kids are warm enough. I want to get them each a blanket of their very own! This fleece blanket will be the perfect gift to keep them warm! Plus, I am going to hand wrap each one so they have a present to open. My students need something that is theirs, something that can keep them warm, and something that reminds them that there are people that care about them! Please help me keep my students warm this winter with a soft, cozy blanket!
