Polacco Books to Inspire Us as Readers and Writers

My students need these 39 children's books to help them making reading and writing connections.

My students can really relate to these Polacco books.

My students all live in poverty and come from homes where literacy resources are very limited.

I want to use these books not only to teach in the classroom, but will also allow my students to check these books out and take them home to read with their families.

My Project

My students can really relate to these books. My students can connect with the characters in these books, particularly when they are dealing with challenging issues. My students are very resilient and these books will allow them to express their feelings in a safe way.

This project will make a difference by providing students with important, relevant, engaging books.

My students deserve access to the very best resources and these books are written by an incredible children's author.
