My students need cameras and tripods for our new photography and technology in art. We will be learning how to take amazing photo and how to edit them to make them pop, along with great photographers!

My Students

The students at my school are excited about art and technology in the classroom. We have students from all walks of life that come together as a strong community who love to learn. We are changing the way we do "specials" this year to allow student to choose what kind of art is most interesting to them.

The art room provides a safe, inclusive, creative space for all students; and it needs to grow with the students and their interests.

Students today are fortunate enough to have the whole world at their finger tips, as a teacher I would like to nurture that love for technology in a positive and creative way.

My Project

These cameras will be used for years to come to foster a new style of creativity in my students. In a world where we take pictures of everything, learning through the lens of a camera is a fun and engaging experience for all students. We will be learning about the anatomy of a good photo, focal points and the rule of thirds. We will then be learning the basics of Photoshop, how to edit photos and different ways the technology is used.

It is important for student to explore many different career paths in the arts and technology.

Art and technology is a growing field that I want to expose my students to. We will learn about career paths like website design, marketing, video game design and movie special effects. It all starts will help from you to make our picture perfect class a reality!
