Poems, Projects, Reader's Theatre, and Books to Celebrate Reading Fun!

My students need 15 copies of The Littlest Christmas Tree book, Fast Start and Fluency projects including poems and fun Reader's Theatre projects, and a cool timer light for helping them to time their projects.

My Students

I am a first-grade teacher in a wonderful school in Wisconsin. My students are very special, and I just love going to school every day to see the sparkle in their little 5- to 8-year-old eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! We participate in so many fun activities throughout the year, and our hope is to add even more.

My Project

My students are having a ball watching their reading ability soar! They have been doing so many fun projects including Word Ladders, Reader's Theatre, tons of poetry, and reading with our iPads. Reading is so much fun, and I need to keep on top of keeping fresh, new, and exciting materials in their hands, so that they can keep on growing! My top readers are becoming leaders, and they want to lead some poetry and Reader's Theatre projects. the Fast Starts, and Fluency books are absolutely packed with projects that they can use to initiate super fun group projects with their peers! They will have so much fun looking through the books and choosing which projects they want to do, from The Three Billy Goats Gruff, to The Grouches. These materials are for my students to use, and they are ready to get their hands on them.

I am also requesting 15 copies of my favorite Christmas Book, called The Littlest Christmas Tree.

My little students will just love reading this book at Christmas time. Finally, I am requesting a really neat time tracker light timer. This will be so much fun for my students to use, because it lights up in different colors, and changes those colors to let them know how the time is counting down during their project. My first-graders are super excited about reading, and they will love these new learning materials! These materials will be used by the students to increase and enjoy their reading enjoyment and ability! Thank you so much for your support.
