Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our current media options don't fully capture our students' diverse voices and experiences. With this new podcast recorder initiative, I want to create a space where students can express themselves, share their perspectives, and engage with new ideas meaningfully.
I envision establishing a professional, student-run podcast studio that will serve as a hub for discussion, storytelling, and news.
This platform will allow students to report on school and community events and explore important topics. Launching this project will inspire students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and active participants in the world around them. This experience will strengthen their ability to analyze information, connect with others, and develop a lifelong appreciation for media literacy.
Many top student media programs thrive because they have access to professional technology and training, and we want to provide the same opportunities for our students.
