This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We use pocket charts throughout the day. Pocket charts have helped us count, take attendance, read, combine syllables, match letters, and so much more. Right now, we are limited to doing these activities in one specific area. It would be so much better if we had pocket chart stands around the classroom where small groups of students could access these learning activities easily. My students deserve to have experiences where they engage in active learning. I need your support to continue promoting activities where my students learn by doing.
