My Project

Pocketlab sensors are a unique way to integrate technology into science. The Voyager 2 sensors measure motion, orientation, altitude, light, and even magnetic fields. These will be used in our physics and energy units. The Pocketlab G-Force cars can measure velocity, position, g-force, rotation, and direction using a car that can fit on a toy track. Students will analyze data in motion experiemnts.

It’s serious science with the fun built in.

Students can even crash cars together and measure the forces of a collision. Using only stopwatches lends to inconsistent measurements and with these materials, students will have more acurate quantitative data to form conclusions and to make engineering decisions when creating thier own cars during our mousetrap car project.
