it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a special bunch because they are committed to making the basketball program, the school and the world a better place. These young men are great student-athletes who believe in hard work and persistence. These student-athletes will be great advocates for society, which is what makes them special. Our students are held to a high standard in our schools due to the fact they are athletes. The school community works diligently to hold our student-athletes to the highest of standards as well as enriching the school culture.
My Project
This package will allow our student-athletes to develop strength in their core as well as their legs. I am a firm believer that everything starts from the bottom up. Being able to have agility ladders, plyometric boxes, and inner thigh strengtheners will allow our team to build strong legs, long strides, and cardiovascular endurance. Our school's weight room is currently out of commission. These resources will allow our student population to workout during physical education class.These are the essential resources in order for an athlete to take his or her conditioning to the next level. Being able to train with elite equipment will make you an elite athlete.
