My Students

My students are K.I.D.S. They are knowledgeable, inquisitive, determined, and successful. The school they attend serves a low-income area. For many students, the school is sometimes the most consistent part of their day. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been very consistent. I have great pride in my students. My school is located in a rural area. Recently our district has consolidated schools. We have students from four communities combining to create new grade bands and schools.

We are the hidden gems of the school district.

The students in my class are thirsty for knowledge. They come to school ready to learn. This year the first nine weeks will be distant learning. This won't stop them from wanting to learn. In fact, it has fueled them. They have big goals, ideas, and hearts.

My Project

Our students all have Ipads to use at home and school. This is an amazing learning tool for the classroom. However, students don't leave the devices at school. They are able to take them home. This means that they don't always come backed charged. The Hercules Tuff Charging Station for Multiple Devices will help solve this problem.

A charging station for our Ipads will ensure that all students can participate safely in class activities.

As a result of social distancing and eliminating materials that can not be easily sanitized, students use their devices throughout the day. The students take pictures of their writing so the teacher can safely review it. They read books, take assessments, practice math and so much more. This project will ensure that all students can stay plugged into learning.
