This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-grade students are fortunate to have 1:1 iPads to enhance their learning every day. These devices give them amazing opportunities to explore, practice skills, and work at their own pace. However, when 20 to 25 iPads are all playing sound at once, the classroom can quickly become noisy and distracting.

Headphones will make a huge difference in creating a calm and focused learning environment.

With headphones, students can concentrate on their own tasks without being distracted by the sounds coming from their classmates’ devices. This simple tool helps keep their attention where it belongs—on learning.

In addition, headphones allow me to work with small groups or individual students without the constant background noise. This means I can give more personalized support while the rest of the class stays engaged and on task. Headphones are a small investment that will make a big impact on our classroom learning experience!
