it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our second grade classroom, students are engaged in daily personalized learning through programs like A-Z, Lexia, and Happy Numbers. These tools help meet each child at their level, whether they are building reading fluency, practicing math, or expanding spelling skills. Students also use microphones to record themselves reading aloud, which boosts their confidence and fluency, and to present research projects they've worked hard on. Technology has become a powerful part of their learning, helping them grow in both independence and skill.
This project will provide a class set of reliable headphones to support all learners during their individualized instruction.
Currently, our class is using a mix of low-quality headphones, many of which are frequently broken or malfunctioning. We don’t have enough to go around, which makes it difficult for all students to engage in their learning at the same time. A full set of durable headphones would create a more peaceful, focused classroom environment where every student can listen, speak, and learn without distraction. Your support would give our learners the tools they need to stay engaged and make the most of their individualized learning opportunities.
