All of my students having learning disabilities, but are anxious to learn and love learning through life experience. Each student enjoys food, restaurants and eating out. We talk about our favorite foods and dining often in our daily conversations. Life can be challenging in many ways for them. However, learning social norms and cues is something they can master.
This project will help students learn basic manners and restaurant etiquette.
"Please & Thank You; Learning Restaurant Etiquette" will allow me to focus on table etiquette; such as appropriate conversation, manners, respect for food, waiting, and so much more. My goals for my students are for them to learn and model proper restaurant etiquette and respect others while dining.
All of my students having learning disabilities. However, each one has the cognitive ability to learn life skills and basic manners to live and work in our community and world. This project will help my students to show respect for one another in every day life. "Please and Thank You" go a long way to showing others respect and appreciation!
