This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Have you ever tried to print a student's work? It's not easy, and it's very costly. My 2nd Grade students don't have a webmail portal, and can't share digital media across third-party platforms. This Chromebook-compatible, wireless, laser printer eliminates the time it takes to access student documents through the district's network communication platform. It also ends out-of-pocket business costs for document printing services and ink cartridges.

Students wirelessly printing their digital-art assignments inspires them to put forth their best effort and create something they want displayed.

Printing up to 22 pages per minute, makes a big difference in planning and learning time. Goals for this project include less time and expense, and bold, brilliant bulletin boards students can brag about.

This class is unique. During Distance Learning in 2020-2021, this class was in Pre-K! They had half-day virtual online classes at home. Next, they were bused to portable classrooms for full-day Kindergarten. Then, they were in a brand new building for 1st Grade. They've always used iPads without access to Wi-Fi printers. This is the first time my 2nd Graders are using Chromebooks each day for all subjects. Their Chromebooks will work great with this compatible Wi-Fi printer!

Printing student work incentivizes them to put time, effort, and creativity into every document. It limits interruptions to their instruction, keeps up with our classroom printing needs, and lets them display their own work. Please help me give them the resources to print their color pictures!
