Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 2 classes of Ceramics/Sculpture and 4 classes of Foundations of Art. This last semester, we have been doing a lot of painting. I just finished teaching an Op Art unit and a Monochromatic Landscape Painting unit. My students really felt like real artists because they were able to paint on the canvases people generously donated last year. But, we've used them all. The brushes I currently have in my classroom are basic. They are old and are falling apart. In order for my students to paint better paintings, we really need better brushes. Please consider helping to fund this project.
