My Students

My students come from a smaller, rural district in the cozy Pennsylvania mountains. I want to enable them to flourish in society and help build their primary skills concerning reading and writing that are adequate preparation for high school. I want my students to develop a passion for education by enabling them to learn through technology and efficient engagement.

Unfortunately, our specific school within the district lacks convenient access to many of the modern educational technological advances and other various features that other educational institutions take for advantage.

My students deserve the best and I believe with the implementation of additional flexible seating, student visibility and attention (and consequential attention) would exceed expectations. Through optional, non-traditional classroom seating, helping students see their true self and discover things about themselves by being in an environment that is not your typical classroom--but one where they can dive deeper that solely standardized educational, industrialized settings (many being non-college bound, it's important to cater to them as well...changing their environment makes a world of difference). Through these finishing touched within my flexible seating environment, my students will unveil more about their actual personal self and desires, to furthermore flourish within their educational feats.

My Project

My students come from a Title I school wherein supplies are limited, if at all available. Things like pencils and erasers and scissors are hard to com by, let alone anchor charts and supplies that are more costly and often more efficient and engaging. I have put together flexible seating options for my students for this year and it would be delightful to have some help with the additional basics.

Things that other schools take advantage of, we lack.

We are lucky to be provided the basics if we ask--let alone luxuries of choice orders.

It'd mean the world to my students and I to have some help with our resources for the year.
