My Students

My 21 kindergarten students are eager beavers! They are hard working and love to write!

Despite the fact that all of my students receive free lunch and come from low-income housing areas, they come to school eager to learn.

My students do not have many resources at home, and with the budget crisis today, there a few resources in my room as well.

My Project

I would like to purchase a Writing Desk from Lakeshore for my students to use. This desk would be used daily (for at least 1.5 hours) by 4 students at a time to do writing and art projects. This desk is perfect for my classroom. It has shelves for paper and other writing tools that are raised so as to create more writing space for the children to use. My students would love to have this perfect place to sit, think and write.

Please help us purchase this writing desk!

It will have such as impact to my students. They will feel like "real" writers and authors with this special area. They will feel inspired to write to their hearts content. Thank you!
