My students need updated hands-on language lessons/teaching tubs. I purchased these items 20 years ago, in the youth of my career, and my students are still using them; pieces are broken, disintegrating and missing.

My Students
My students attend a public Montessori school and are culturally, religiously, and socio-economically diverse. They are goal oriented and enjoy the hands-on learning and materials that the Montessori environment provides. They work diligently on their lessons and crave new materials to use throughout the curriculum, especially in the areas of reading and language-arts. My students are truly a wonderful group of kindergarten and first graders who are intrinsically motivated and love to learn more than anything. I am so fortunate to be their teacher!
My Project
These Teaching/Letter Tubs are an excellent addition to Montessori Language Lessons. I originally purchased the entire set 20 years ago; my students use them every day even though many of the objects are missing or broken.
The Montessori "Moveable Alphabet" is used with the objects so the students are able to spell the words before reading and writing them.
This provides several opportunities for success in language arts. My kindergarten students are even able to write complete sentences using the objects in the teaching tubs. They are a very clever group of boys and girls and I feel fortunate to work with them everyday!
