This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students go to a K-8 center in Florida. We are just opening a new STEAM Lab. I am the school Science Coordinator. The lab will serve all the children in our school. We want the students to be able to use a MacBook in the lab. Why a MacBook? It facilitates video production. The iMovie program on the MacBook is more sophisticated than phone or iPad versions, but it is user-friendly. Its simple controls are great for children. We want our students to produce science videos on the new computer.
Over 80% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
We do not have great financial resources. We would very much appreciate any help you can offer!
