My Students
My scholars are bright, unique, and motivated learners. They attend our Philadelphia public Title I school. When I see my students excited to learn, this drives my passion to teach. Each year with a new group of children is a journey, and this year we are eager to add more individualized instruction and engaging technology-based lessons!
My students are truly some of the most inquisitive and intrinsically motivated learners I have ever had the pleasure of teaching.
All of our students live below the poverty line and are reading below grade level. We have many students in foster homes and some in shelters. Please help me provide the tools they need to close the achievement and increase reading levels.

My Project
During the pandemic so very much has changed in everyday life, routines and especially school.
One of the biggest hurdles I am currently facing as an educator is struggling to meet the needs of my students who do not have a stable wifi connection.
Providing a hotspot for students in need would allow them to log into live zoom sessions, complete research and lessons online and work asynchronously throughout the school day. Please consider donating to this project in order to help each and every child access to the internet and a wonderful education!
