Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and items that I am requesting will directly impact our students and the day-to-day operations of our program. Improving our operations is important because it will make the registration process for our deserving students so much easier.

The folders, notebooks, easel pads, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, and dry erase markers will be used in our adult ESL classes.

Many of our students don't have access to school supplies, so providing these basic materials will not only help them improve their English, but it will provide them with just a little encouragement and motivation when coming to class. I've also listed enough first aid kits to put into each of our classrooms and our main office.

We love to share community resources with our students, so the bulletin board and borders will provide a space for this and announcements. We will post it near our front doors, so it will be the first thing they see when they arrive. The garment racks will give us somewhere to hang our graduation gowns so they are less wrinkled when we hand them out at the end of the year.
