This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a bilingual speech teacher who works with speech and language and hearing impaired students in kindergareten through 5 th. grades. Many of my students also are English language learners meaning English is not their native language. All of many students work hard at improving their speech and language skills as well as improving and understanding the academic curriculum. They want to be better communicators and work diligently at improving their communication skills. My students are so dedicated to improving their communication skills.

My Project

By receiving these materials my students will be able to enhance their receptive and expressive language skills, will be able to enhance their semantic vocabulary, will be able to answer comprehension skills and will be able to effectively participate in group discussions related to the curriculum. These materials will help them improve their listening skills as well as they will be provided with optimal learning opportunities to enhance their comprehension skills. These materials will also help my English as a second language students improve their vocabulary and ability to answer questions related to the topics presented. My students appreciate your generous contributions to enhancing their academic performance.
