My Project
My preschoolers are full of potential, curiosity, and joy—but many are already starting their educational journey at a disadvantage. As a special education teacher in an inner-city school, I see firsthand how poverty and limited resources make it harder for these incredible children to get the strong start they deserve. With your support, and my unwavering passion for helping them grow, we can change that.
For the past 10 years, I’ve dedicated myself to special education—and for the last two, I’ve focused on preschoolers.
These little learners thrive through play, movement, and multisensory activities designed around their unique IEP goals. This project will bring them the hands-on tools—like Play-Doh and sand trays—to explore letters and sounds through touch and play. The iPad will open doors to interactive stories, calming strategies, and personalized learning tools, while also helping me track their progress with care and accuracy.
