The books that were purchased have been added to our classroom library where students are able to take it as they see fit and read during independent time. \r\n\r\nWhen I showed them the collection, they were overwhelmed with joy! Most of my students have never seen a full collection of books written by an author they love. This was truly a new experience. They were excited to read all the new titles such as \"Ms. Coco is Loco!\" and \"Mrs. Yonkers is Bonkers!\". \r\n\r\nAs students continue to use the books during the school year, I hope that their love for reading will translate into a love for writing. Our students struggle with writing standards and oftentimes have a difficult time creating ideas. The My Weird School Series is definitely a great way to show how fun and silly writing can be. \r\n\r\nWe thank you so much for thinking of our class and we can't wait to read some more!","fullyFundedDate":1746698841327,"projectUrl":"project/for-the-love-of-reading/9249043/","projectTitle":"For the Love of Reading!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Green","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3654190"},{"teacherId":9824634,"projectId":8916854,"letterContent":"I want to start by thanking you again for your support. My students absolutely love the new rug and they have enough room to sit and enjoy our morning meetings. I proudly tell them that Donors Choose gifted it to the class. \r\n\r\nMy students are always asking me to go to the rug. Whenever a classmate spills liquids or drops food, everyone is concerned and quickly cleans it up. \r\nIt is clear, they love this rug! They hop, jump and touch the rug all the time.
