My Project
My English 1 and Reading students are creative, engaging, and so very loving. Our High School is a Title 1 school, and the building itself is surrounded by a lot of challenging circumstances. Even so, I have tried to build a climate of love and faith in our classroom, so my students will feel safe and be able to learn.
We are entering STAAR Prep season, and I want to provide a tangible reward to motivate my students to do well.
Each student will be graded for effort, having a super awesome attitude, and keeping their phone put away every day. The student with the most points at the end of STAAR Prep will win an Amazon Fire 10 tablet (2023 release). I am hoping to have the tablets purchased and in the school vault very soon, so we can begin to promote the prize they will be competing for.
