Please Help Me Teach Cell Division to My Students!

Help me give my students the ability to visualize learning. A lot of my students are visual and hands on learners. Concepts can be hard to understand without manipulative learning. Please help me to reach my students!

My Students

What I love about my "kids"? Well, I love seeing them everyday. I love it when their faces light up when they say hello, because they really mean it! I absolutely love when I see the understanding on their faces when they "get" the concept I am teaching.

I really love seeing them work in groups and really focus on the task at hand.

They are accepting of others and help each other to complete tasks. It is wonderful how accepting of others they are.

Lastly, I love the way they make me feel that they are truly "my kids." I have had students three years in a row, and we are "family". Teaching is hard, but in the end, it is all about "my kids."

My Project

The students will have learned about cell division. It is really important to give my visual learners (most of my students) a hands on learning experience! The students will work in teams to better understand with cooperative learning. With my students, learning is all about doing.

I have seen my student's eyes light up with pride and understanding when they "get it"!

By using these materials, my students will begin to see, and master, how the different parts of a cell work together to maintain life.
