Help me give my students printer paper so they can complete digital homework, projects, research, and study-guides.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Larkin's classroom raised $199

My Students
My school is a Title I, high-poverty, school in NY, with over 1,500 6th-8th grade students. Nearly 1/2 of my students have disabilities, and many are learning English as a second language.
Today’s schools often require students do homework and projects online, but not all students have the resources at home.
Every morning, I arrive at school an hour early, and there are students ready and waiting to use our computer lab to print their assignments. Some are slide-show presentations, or essays, or creative writing pieces. One student loves to create her own alternative tests for her classes, and 20-page study sheets to prepare for them! The computer lab is constantly short of printer paper, and it is not easy to keep up with the pace of 1,500 students.
I want to help our help students use the school's technology to the best effect. I especially want to help those who come to school an hour early (or stay late, or give up their valuable lunch time) get their assignments completed and in order.
My Project
Students at my school do more of their homework and projects online every year. From Google Docs and lassroom, to coding assignments, to power point presentations, to creating QR codes- much of their work is done on computers.
Our computer lab is filled every morning and every afternoon with children looking to print their work.
I have even set aside a print station so that children can come in during my classes and print their assignments for ELA, social studies, math or science.
With a case of printer paper dedicated to the computer lab, no student will be at risk of being told they can't print their essay on the Jazz Age, or their letter to the city council about recycling, or their fund-raisers to build wells in western Africa.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
