Please Have a Seat...or a Cushion...or a Wobble Chair
My students need Flex-Space wobble chairs as a seating option different from the traditional chair, Multi-Fold padded seats for comfortable floor seating, and wobble cushions and clipboards for flexible seating around the classroom.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a beautifully diverse group of fourth graders. These young learners aspire to become scientists, teachers, doctors, and even professional athletes. They work extremely hard in the classroom to be able to follow their dreams, and they do this while being confronted with social, personal, and educational challenges.
Regardless of their obstacles, my students learn to excel by collaborating with others, becoming organized thinkers and learners, and utilizing their previous knowledge or languages.
My students want to learn, and they put forth the greatest effort to become the most knowledgable and most respectful and responsible human beings they can be. They strive to make a difference, and are able to use this drive to overcome the obstacles they are faced with.
My Project
My fourth graders enjoy learning in different ways, whether it be outside for a few minutes or with our shoes off. Sometimes, doing things the traditional way isn't the most effective way. Having different modes of seating around the classroom, such as the Flex-Space wobble chairs at their desks or the Flex-Space wobble cushions on the floor, can allow these students to experience a more comfortable learning environment where they aren't expected to sit in one place, in one uncomfortable way, for a whole school day. I am also requesting padded seats and clipboards for additional seating options.
Students who are given the freedom to learn comfortably become more engaged and are, therefore, better able to retain more information effectively.
Flexible seating will only aid in the benefits students will gain from learning in a non-traditional way.
