My students are very excited about learning. Some times a little too excited. I teach gifted education. I do not have the traditional school desks but table and chairs instead. The chairs that we currently have in my classroom are old and worn out. I have been teaching at this school for 15 years and the furniture in my classroom was not new when I got here. The plastic is cracked on a few and some of the legs are bent.
I have to tell the students that their chairs are older than they are and to be careful with them.
Please help me replace some of the current chairs with new ones that will not crack or break when they accidentally get knocked over. I want my students to also be comfortable in the chairs and not get their clothes or hair caught in the cracks.
