My Project

I have seventy four energetic & passionate 4th - 6th graders I get to be inspired by this year. My students thrive in my hands-on evidence & data based science classroom. They work so extremely hard and have such a huge interest in science. These tools would give us real-time accurate data with graphs to analyze. This connects our science learning here in the classroom to the real world, and completely prepares them for their end of year summative tests.

My classroom is an active, engaging place.

We do not sit silently during lectures, or spend hours reading about science in a textbook. We experience science FIRSTHAND, where students are able to see it in a tangible, concrete way.

The thermometers will be used across the multiple grade levels, in almost every single module. The other sensors & tools will be utilized more in specific grade levels but will give us vital information to help students see science in a concrete way.
