Help me give my students a comfortable place to sit while we work.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. D.'s classroom raised $600
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By providing, alternative seating accommodates diverse needs, fostering greater independence and self-regulation. It empowers students to take ownership of their learning space, enhancing both their social-emotional well-being and academic success.
Help me give my students who receive specialized instruction alternative seating to support their learning in a more comfortable environment!
My special education kindergarten students receive small group instruction that often occurs on the floor, or in a hallway. I teach in a very old school building and sitting on the old rugs is not ideal for anyone's health.
When this project is funded the students will have access to perfect work stations. These chair/ desk combos give them a designated space to sit and also a place to write. Sitting up and writing on a desk will allow them to practice good form for their penmanship.
