My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. Each day, they show me how resilient and imaginative they are, even when facing challenges that come with early childhood special education. What I love most is their joy in discovery—especially when they’re given the freedom to explore through play. Dramatic play is more than pretend; it’s a powerful tool for social-emotional learning. It helps children express feelings, understand others’ perspectives, and build communication skills in a safe, supportive environment. With costumes, props, and themed play areas, they learn to navigate emotions, solve problems, and develop empathy—all while having fun. These resources will transform our classroom into a space where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
