My Project
A large part of kindergarten is learning how to play cooperatively and develop social skills. Every day we have a dedicated play time that encourages students to solve problems, think creatively, and play imaginatively. Unfortunately, some of our current toys are getting run down and are no longer effective playtime activities.
This project will allow us to have up-to-date and engaging materials to use and play with during our purposeful play time.
My students love to engage in pretend play, building, and problem solving. They will be so excited to see these new toys and use them each afternoon.
Materials in this project include items like baby dolls, a tree house, and a pirate ship, which will all encourage pretend play. Items like the train tracks and marbles will be used to build and create. The storage bins are necessary to store and organize our new toys so that students can easily access and store them.
