Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach in New Orleans at a public school where a majority of the students come from underprivileged backgrounds. I am excited to welcome my students and teach them sports and engage them in fruitful playtime activities.

This is my second year at this school, I notice that our school is needing a lot of materials like Soccer balls, foot balls and Detachable Adjustable Weight Size Plastic Hoops - Kids Hola Rings for Sports, Exercise, Playing, and a few 16 FT Long Jump Rope for Kids for PE and recess FUN time for the students.

I would love to teach the students how to play outside and bond with each other, but we don't have any hula-hoops, jump-ropes for the sport. I have a lot of female students who need to play and do exercise. We will be very grateful to you for helping us get these materials will be used daily and will help my students succeed!
