Playpalooza: Enriching 3rd Grade Recess Options for Social Emotional Learning

Help me give my students and students across 3rd grade recess equipment to support physical, mental, and motor development.

My Project

Let the kids play they say. But do kids really understand the elements of play? This equipment will allow an unstructured part of the day to have just a little more intentionality. Allowing students to connect socially in engaging activities not only to give their brain a break but to develop motor skills, confidence in physical activities, and working within the rules of a game.

Students are already nervous about the friends they will make.

With new recess equipment that will benefit our third grade team, students can feel included with options to play and participate no matter their ability.
