Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Transitional Kindergarten students are at the perfect age to begin strengthening their fine motor skills that will get them ready for kindergarten. Their ability to grip their pencil and open and close scissors will make a difference in how successful they are with the standards for the following school year. My goal is to prepare them to meet those standards through play based experiences.

Your support towards this project will give my students the materials that they need for small group centers that will help to develop their fine motor skills.

I have chosen specific products that meet the developmental needs of 4 year olds, but that are also fun to use. They will explore the materials and get creative while learning and preparing themselves for academic requirements. I thank you in advance for your consideration. I am excited to share these materials with the tiny humans in my class.
